From our inception over 20 years ago, Amerisist Assisted Living was designed with the independent senior in mind. Every aspect of our communities was considered to promote a holistic approach and promote aging in place. Our Assisted Living facilities are located in established residential communities with open floor plans on one level to allow ease of access to all of our amenities and encourage community interaction. The size and layout of our communities foster individualized care for each resident in a home-like environment.

Amerisist's relationship with Home Health, Hospice and Ministerial Associations allow residents to stay in the comfort of a familiar environment when intensive assistance becomes necessary. Our alliance with multiple local Home Health agencies provides residents with physician ordered therapies such as physical, occupational or speech therapy and many skilled nursing needs. Our association with various Hospice providers offers end of life support such as bereavement counseling, spiritual counseling and support as well as nursing care.

Amerisist Assisted Living is where your loved one will find a comfortable, secure and welcoming home. Our residents come from all different walks of life and backgrounds, but each resident shares one common goal- “independence that doesn’t have to mean being alone.” Our residents are able to maintain a greater level of independence and have a higher quality of life by having the opportunity to socialize while being provided the daily assistance they need. Independence is interpreted differently by each senior we meet. At Amerisist, independence means each resident will be supported based on their needs, to be able to maximize their quality of life. Some seniors are looking for a short respite stay to get back on their feet so that they can return home. Others can no longer live alone and choose our communities as their home. Many perceive that residents have to be primarily independent when in fact we provide care from independence to extensive levels of care. At Amerisist, our goal is to encourage residents to remain as active and independent as possible.
